What businesses ask us before they sign up.
Which Microsoft 365 plan does my business need?
It depends on how each person works. Business Basic suits staff who only need email, Teams and Office on the web and mobile. Business Standard adds the desktop Office apps. Business Premium adds Intune device management, advanced threat protection and information protection. You can mix plans across your team, and we'll recommend the right one for each person.
What's the difference between Business Basic and Business Standard?
Business Standard includes the desktop Office apps, such as Word, Excel and Outlook, installed on your computer. Business Basic includes the web and mobile versions only. Both include business email with a 50 GB mailbox, Teams and 1 TB of OneDrive storage per user.
Can we use our own domain name for email?
Yes. We set up Microsoft 365 email on your business domain, such as [email protected], and can manage the domain for you. If your email is with another provider, we move your existing mail across.
Can I buy email without the Office apps?
Yes. Exchange Online Plan 1 gives you business email with a 50 GB mailbox and a 50 GB archive. Plan 2 has a 100 GB mailbox, an archive of up to 1.5 TB, data loss prevention and in-place hold.
Should we choose Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace?
Both handle business email, file sharing and video meetings well. Microsoft 365 suits teams that rely on desktop Word, Excel and Outlook, or want their Windows computers managed alongside. Google Workspace suits teams that work mostly in the browser and edit documents together. In2Digital supports both; see Google Workspace.
Can we pay for Microsoft 365 monthly?
Yes. Every licence can be paid monthly. Business Basic, Business Standard, Exchange Online Plan 1 and Office 365 E3 can also be paid yearly, which means a 1-year commitment. The other licences are billed monthly. Prices are per user and include GST. Tell us how many people you have and we'll confirm the total with no obligation.
Is our Microsoft 365 email backed up?
Microsoft 365 keeps your service running, but it isn't a full backup: deleted items can only be recovered for a limited time. Our Daily Mailbox & SharePoint Backup add-on keeps a separate daily copy, so lost email and files can be restored. It costs $6.60 per user a month (inc GST).
