| Minimum term | None. Month to month. You can cancel at any time. |
Other services you need
Cloud Voice Ultimate doesn't depend on any other service from us. It runs over the internet, so you need an internet connection. That can come from any provider. Call quality depends on your connection.
Equipment
You don't have to buy any equipment from us. The mobile and desktop apps are included, and you use them on your own smartphone or computer. Desk phones are optional. If you want them, we quote them first and you pay for them once. Ask us whether desk phones you already have will work.
Exclusions and important conditions
- Fair use. Unlimited calls are for normal business calling by the users and extensions in your Order. They don't cover call centres, telemarketing, auto-diallers, reselling, wholesale traffic, permanent connections (such as always-open lines) or diverting calls to get around call charges. If your use is well beyond normal business use, we'll talk to you first. We may then move you to a more suitable plan with 30 days' notice, or you can cancel.
- Calls at a time. Ultimate includes 5 calls in progress at a time. If you need more, talk to us.
- International calls aren't available unless you arrange them with us first. We tell you the rates before we switch them on, and those calls are charged on top of the plan price.
- Numbers you can't call. Premium (19xx) numbers, satellite phones, 106, directory assistance and other special numbers can't be called from our phone systems.
- SMS isn't included.
- Medical and security alarms. Medical alarms, monitored security alarms, lift emergency phones and similar devices may not work over Cloud Voice. Talk to us before connecting one.
Calling 000 in an emergency
- You can call Triple Zero (000) free while your internet connection and power are working. It doesn't need a PIN.
- Your phones, including calls to 000, won't work in a power failure or internet outage, if our voice carrier's network is down, or if our phone platform is down. Keep a charged mobile phone handy for emergencies.
- Calls to 106 (the text emergency service for TTY users) and 112 can't be made from our phone systems.
- The operator may not automatically get your location, so always give your full address. If you're away from your service address (for example using the app at home), emergency services may be sent to the recorded address, so call 000 from a mobile.
Ending the service early
There's no early termination charge. You can cancel at any time by email or a Portal request. The service ends at the end of the current monthly billing period, and you pay the plan price until then. Desk phones you've bought and paid for are yours to keep. To keep your phone numbers, move (port) them to your new provider before you cancel.
Cost of a 2-minute call to an Australian mobile
$0. Standard calls to Australian mobiles are part of your unlimited calls (subject to fair use), so a 2-minute call costs nothing extra.
Checking your call usage
Calls aren't charged on this plan, so there's no call usage to pay for. We don't list individual calls on our bills. For your call records, call or email us, or raise a request in the Portal.
